The Securities Industry Dispute Resolution Centre (Sidrec), an alternative dispute resolution approved by the Securities Commission that was set up in January, is already reviewing cases from aggrieved claimants.
The Securities Industry Dispute Resolution Center (SIDREC), which begins operations today, aims to resolve small claims disputes in an efficient and timely manner – within 90 days upon receipt of complete documentation.
The Securities Industry Dispute Resolution Center (SIDREC) is on track to start operations in early 2011 following the gazette of the Capital Markets and Services (Dispute Resolution) Regulations 2010 which come into effect on 30 Dec 2010.
