The Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM)’s first virtual annual convention (FIMMAC) will be taking place from 25 to 29 October 2021. Being the flagship event that it is, FIMMAC will see investment managers, Unit Trust Scheme (UTS) and Private Retirement Scheme (PRS) consultants as well as other industry players and personnel coming together with the investing public to share knowledge on, learn about and discuss topics impacting fund management.

Themed “The Next Normal”, the virtual convention will focus on the key findings identified by FIMM’s 2021 Investment Management Survey, which highlight the industry landscape at present, and indicate its future direction(s).

Among other things, the convention will relay how the UTS and PRS industries have weathered the COVID-19 pandemic, and how they will remain relevant and resilient in the future.

FIMMAC 2021 will also incorporate the “Industry Education Series” to share with and educate participants on the importance of investing, and in doing so safely. These sessions are open to the general public!

As part of the Series, be sure not to miss SIDREC on 28 October 2021 at 11:05AM in the session “Scams on the Rise: Protect Your Investments” as SIDREC’s Chief Executive Officer participates in a panel discussion alongside representatives from FIMM, Nomura Asset Management Malaysia and AmInvest.

SIDREC will also be participating as a FIMMAC exhibitor to address your most pressing investment dispute resolution questions. Drop by and start a conversation with us!
